Life in the women’s shelter
You run your own household and look after your children. To protect you and the other residents from further violence, the address of the women’s shelter is secret and must not be passed on to close friends and family. For this reason, visits to the women’s shelter are not possible.
Children in the women’s shelter
The children quickly make friends and learn that they are not the only ones who have experienced violence at home. There is a large children’s room for them in the women’s shelter and a playground in the safe inner courtyard.
